Since a young age, I have experienced fencing as complete sport that provides fitness, contributes to mental health, self-awareness and most of all offers hours of fun with other fencers. I am now pleased to form part of a great team of experienced coaches & motivated volunteers who share a passion for fencing, striving to create a welcoming, safe and diverse environment for fencers of all backgrounds, new and experienced, willing to develop into competition or just for their leisure purposes. Certainly, something I will never regret trying. The team and I would love to see you at our Horsham club.

The club has existed since 1990. We meet in the Sports Hall at Millais School on Wednesday evenings 7pm – 9.30pm.
The club membership is made up of experienced fencers and those who have passed through the Beginners’ Course – we all started somewhere! Our weapon of choice is Épée.
We welcome fencers of all ages and abilities and pride ourselves on being a friendly and social fencing club with no pressure to compete. We do however also offer the ability to compete in club competitions as well as local and national competitions wherever there is interest & our team of coaches will support you as you progress.

Yes! We normally run beginners courses throughout the year. Check out our beginners page for the latest dates and further information.
Absolutely! We do a lot of inter club competitions, competition nights with members and keep everyone updated with competitions going on across the UK which a few of our members attend. There is no pressure to compete at all however when members do compete, coaches will often be there and other club members too.
